Taste of India Express began with a simple idea: the bold spices and time-honoured recipes of India should not have to wait for a long, formal dinner. We built a halal kitchen in Sherwood Park Plaza that serves authentic Indian cuisine fast and fresh — the true taste of India, served with speed and soul.
Our Chicken Vindaloo, Coconut Chicken and Butter Chicken have become local favourites, alongside Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Chicken Curry, Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka and crisp vegetable samosas with tamarind sauce. Every dish is prepared with traditional spices and served in portions big enough to share.
Today the buffet runs seven days a week from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, family deals feed two to ten guests, and the same kitchen packs every takeout and delivery order. Whether you are grabbing lunch on Granada Blvd or planning a get-together, you get the same friendly welcome and the same honest value.
This is a hidden gem. The dinner buffet is absolutely amazing — you get all you can eat, a free drink and dessert, and they bring you fresh naan. Our favourites are the lamb, butter chicken and tikka masala.
Very lovely location and service. The owner was very understanding and accommodating with my dairy allergy — I still had five buffet choices plus rice and salad. Their veggie samosas with tamarind sauce are so good!
